We Need Christ Because We Live in a FALLEN WORLD

Ostrog Monastery, Dabovici, Montenegro, source: Atlantix Travel

Today, we live in a fallen world and Christianity has fallen too. Why is Christianity falling down? We are driven by modern technology and artificial general intelligence automatically we are addicted to instant and rapid on life process and result - which we are frequently renounce the tradition process naturally. Lord have mercy.

In the West, we see pride parade, pro choice who supports abortion, love is love movement, feminism, charismatic-progressive, and so many labelled-categorised movements overall behalf on the modernism. In the church itself, has been taken over by the modern agenda. We found there is a church who supports the LGBTQ and abortion-led by false pastors. It is not just happening in the West but the East has experienced its influence. We are eventually one nation who have same influence. No matter when you're a European or an Asian, you're today same person who supports these modern movements. That's actually very sad because we live in by demonic-led, even though we truly aware of that, but yeah sometimes we aren't aware at all.

We are living in a fallen world! We are disconnected by Christ's life!

Jesus came to this world and said that anyone else who made decided to follow Him, it will be hated because of Him. It's been predicted for years until today. Our job is to keep our faith until Jesus coming secondly. However, our job isn't easy and remains getting difficult because of different reasons, like we have very little friends who believe in Jesus, disconnecting from public and society because of hate, nobody will care about Jesus even losing an interest of learning Christ. We see other "Christian" people who just to justify themselves in the church, like a female pastor believes, "I felt God's presence with me as I made the decision to end two pregnancies." You can read here

So, yeah, yeah, we know that we are today minority of this community in this world. It's getting hard but we aren't giving up easily because our job is to keep our faith and lead them into Christ's life which is actually. The fallen world is full of lies, wars, hate, fraud, fanaticism, and everything comes trapped, like we do not have an exit road.

Eastern Orthodox inspires us to have such belief in our faith

Eastern Orthodox is mainly populated community in Eastern Europe, like Romania, Serbia, Georgia, Russia, until Greece. In the Eastern Europe, the continent has been untouchable and invisible community in the world. Nobody else will know about this continent. It's like a closed continent, but it's really interesting when you need to experience such traditional or just normal life typically. There is no wave, there's no modern agenda movement, and there's no liberal idea getting wild everywhere, everything is just humbled and putting family first over any interests. They are going to church every day, even when the divine liturgy has been packed!

We are grateful that we still have Eastern Orthodox existing in this world. Imagine if there is no Eastern Orthodox, it will be lost everything as we are all ruined and fraud by that "we are fine". The divine liturgy of St. John Chrysostom that made we feel like we are just in the heaven as we see how God's alive here in the church and everything is represented. That's why St. Vladimir was a devout pagan in his early life decided to convert to Eastern Orthodox and Russia became Orthodox.

In Orthodox church, we see married priests have been greatness example about marriage life, finding your future husband/ wife, and household. We see the priest loves so much with children and babies even though they aren't his children. We have priest's wife always lead in female ministry. Everything like that may we never found in other way. This is only happening in Orthodox church.

Visiting a monastery may be our habits to meet a monk and attend the liturgy, even we can help them serving in the monastery temporarily. In fact, we do not have a monastery here in Indonesia, but one day we will visit a monastery because the monastery is the exile place that the world where is the monastery still keeping Christ alive and living just like normal life. A monastery was established in 358 in Ibora, for men,  by St. Basil the Great as the father of monasticism. When the world falls down, the monastery keeps alive. You will suddenly experience its change when switching into a monastic life for just temporary. The monastery clearly the best place to find what is a life and what is a world that actually we need. Only spending two-day at a monastery will change your life. It will feel something like this is different than previous. The best monastery that I could recommend here:

  1. Mount Athos (male guests only allowed to visit)
  2. Meteora Monastery, Greece
  3. Rila Monastery, Bulgaria
  4. Ostrog Monastery, Montenegro
  5. Bodbe Monastery, Georgia
  6. Still many monasteries in Asia, Europe, America, Oceania, and Africa
You can search the list of Eastern Orthodox monasteries on Google then call a monk there and visit based on the schedule. Please wear modesty, full pants, and cover your hair up while visiting a monastery. I believe you will change your life when visiting a monastery. A monastery is the nice place ever in the world that never replaced. That will make change your life!

So, we need women and men to live Christ. We do not need feminism, LGBTQ, misandry, patriarchy, or whatever that called widely trended on social life, we only need Christ. We should live the world what is supposed that we feel an experience of visiting a monastery. A monastery is the excellent example about how to live in the world. Orthodox Christianity is the good lesson for inquirers and people who search God and something that they've lost. We hope and pray for people that are still trapped in this a fallen world going to return for Orthodoxy and experiencing Christ's life once in their life.

Orthodox is about teaching kept based on tradition and history in the standpoint of the Scripture and Fathers Church in that line - which have been doing for the years until today.

So, let's live in Christ and become a Christian who defends the faith, conservative, and traditional!

The Idea of Feminism In the Church

A veiled woman lighting up a candle in the Orthodox Church, source: Adobe Stock Roman Catholic Pope Francis appeared a 60-minute on CBS's live-streaming interview with a female reporter, Norah O'Donnell. She was curious in a question towards on him,  " I'm curious, for a little girl growing up Catholic today, will she ever have the opportunity to be a deacon and participate as a clergy member in the church ?" Pope Francis simply, saying, " No ." O'Donnell seemed to trying to push on him about her idea of the progressive and reformation in the Catholic Church. But, thanks God, Pope was strong defending his faith.  This is a 60-minute interview has opened that in fact the pressure of the church reformation has been increasingly happening today. We heard that some churches trying to allow its LGBTQ movement within church life, like the Unitarian church. And, I think some churches have accepted the female ordination, but usually it is Protestant church b...

The Pascha, Life Bond, and SO SPECIAL! Orthodox Christianity!

Holy Fire in Jerusalem We typically celebrate the Easter - however that the Orthodox people generally saying that's Pascha - but I felt like that was so special that I celebrated the Pascha in a different Christianity tradition which was unfamiliar to myself, being to live in the country who well-known about Western Christianity. We celebrate the Pascha on a different calendar, it is Julian Calendar so many people wonder that why we are being late celebrate the Pascha and even the Christmas, a week late (between 12-13 days on Julian and Gregorian calendars) from the Western Christians. But, in certain times in history, we celebrate on the same date like 2017 we celebrate the Pascha together with Roman Catholics and it will be happening next year! The Eastern Orthodox is the holy and first church to just celebrated a blessed holy week in last week! Unfortunately, I was unlucky in that schedule as I had a five-day training during the holy week schedule, that caused I had to miss mult...

How Christianity View Generation Z?

Source: Asbury Revival 2023, Cincinnati Enquirer I spent the weekend working and playing on a PC/ computer. I learned and watched about Asbury Revival which went viral in Wilmore, Kentucky. Approximately 15.000 attendances worshipping at a university, any sources tell. Which were mostly college and high school students. That was goosebumps! Felt like "Wow, America is back on the right way!" and "That's nice." Generation Z, where somebody who was born around the 1990s to 2000s, living depends on technology and that is called the modern era. We have cellphones, tablets, Instagram, Twitter, and laptops, and we depend on technology the most. I heard that is also called Millennial Generation. We have easier access than the previous generation. I'm one of this generation. I depend on technology since I can't live without them. As you do and exactly, you can't live without them, aren't you? Well, we will learn about how Christianity views Generation Z. ...
